Core Mechanics
  • Gameplay Testing: Focus on core mechanics—resource management, territory control, building and combat.
  • Multiplayer Load Test: Initial load and stress tests to determine maximum server load.
  • Feedback Loop: Collect feedback from alpha testers to fine-tune gameplay balance and detect bugs.
  • Art & Animation Update: Add placeholder art for all major units, buildings, and environmental elements.

Roles & Map Expansion
  • Role Expansion: Finalize the Farmer role and introduce Lumberjack, Miner, Officer, Commander, and Royal roles—each with distinct abilities, skills, and responsibilities.
  • Map Expansion: More diverse landscapes—forests, mountains, rivers, and new biome-specific gameplay elements.
  • Tutorials and Guides: In-game tutorials to help new players get started and master core mechanics.
Q1 2025
Continued Feature Rollout
  • Random Events: Unpredictable occurrences such as famines, raids, or political upheavals that can change the course of the campaign. These events may force players to adapt their strategies, provide new opportunities, or create unforeseen challenges.
  • Natural Disasters: Events like floods, droughts, earthquakes, and wildfires will dynamically affect regions in the game, disrupting resource production, damaging infrastructure, or impacting the economy.

Closed Beta Release
  • Beta Invite for Early Supporters: Limited beta invites sent to early supporters and community members.
Q2 2025
Full Game Release
  • Game Launch: Official release of Fields to Kingdoms on PC, with cross-platform multiplayer enabled.
  • Post-launch Support: Ongoing balance patches, bug fixes, and content updates based on player feedback.
